    Thanks!
With me mainly going for Ardbeg and Laphroaig limited original bottlings (and not being a collector for very long), Whiskybase prices my collection roughly 75% higher than Whiskystats (with Whiskystats being the “base value” for that comparison).

Another easily misleasing thing is that Whiskybase has a massive amount of Whiskies “split up” by bottle codes whereas the same one on here has only one entry: e.g. “Ardbeg Lord of the Isles” has one entry on here and 13 entries with a wide range of (average) prices between them “over there”. I honestly do not know if there’s actually much of a difference between these releases at auction and if that applies to all other Whiskies with different bottle codes for the “generallly same release”, at leasts that’s what Whiskybase would make one believe….

Hey there, are you aware that the Android app (still) displays the “Database being updated message” since Sunday?

How”s the work on the new DB going, any news?
If you ran into unexpected problems and might need help let me know, databases are a big part of my job πŸ˜‰

Sounds great, thanks for your efforts.
Will you release a beta version? Would certainly test and give feedback (I’m software dev/database guy myself).

I am really glad that I could not go past it in a small shop in Lochgilphead while waiting for the citylink coach back in 2012. Never expected a high price, just bought 2 of it for the looks and devil theme.

Together with the Alliigators and Octomore comus-es quite a nice shopping trip, kept one of each sealed ever since

Thank you for this, I’m on my way to own at least 5 (all Islay) of these, currently it is just two of the Ardbegs πŸ™‚

By the way, as i stumbled upon the monthly price update link in the text: Will there be one for May or is the next one scheduled for June?

Nice! Great app by the way, can”t believe that I somehow managed to miss it until a couple of months ago.
Will certainly help me growing my little Islay collection πŸ™‚

I would recommend the 1977 24 yo Ardbeg instead of something “just fancy” like the HP Thor.
